The innovative PETROLERO POWER PLANT 40 formulation was developed specifically for Jenbacher gas piston units (GPU) and units from other manufacturers (Caterpillar; Cummins; Perkins; Waukesha; Wartsila; MWM; Guascor, MAN, MTU, VDM, Rolls-Royce, Delaval Enterprise; Dresser-Rand Category I, II and III; Superior; Worthington Four-stroke), whose uninterrupted operation requires special oil characteristics such as:

Extended drain interval

Detonation prevention

Improved detergent properties

Highest thermal stability

Thanks to PETROLERO's latest formula, this oil can operate significantly longer while remaining fully within approvals and operating characteristics until oil change or automatic top-up into the GPU system. Modern base oils in its formulation maintain the required viscosity (SAE 40) throughout the operating cycle and deliver record oil NOACK volatility resistance in the finished POWER PLANT 40 blend.
